Sri Adi Sankaracharya penned the Ganesha Pancharatnam stotram on God Ganesha, God Shiva's eldest son. The meaning of this stotra discusses God Ganesha's traits and nature, as well as the benefits of worshipping to him.

Pancharatnam is a Sanskrit word that means "five gems." Guru Sri Adi Shankaracharya honoured Ganesha by presenting these five stanzas as five jewels, therefore the appellation Maha Ganesha Pancharatnam.

The phala stuti, or rewards of reading, is addressed in the final section of this stotra, where it is stated that whosoever recites the ganesha pancharatnam would be given with good health, money, and knowledge. Reciting this stotram also aids one in overcoming challenges with the blessing of God Ganesha.
